From transfer to confirmation in four steps

Create a payment request
Your store sends the amount to Wasal, and your customer gets a link with your wallet number or InstaPay address.

The customer pays and uploads the receipt
They transfer with Vodafone Cash or InstaPay and upload a screenshot of the receipt. Their name is optional.

Your phone receives the message
The Wasal app on your Android phone picks up the transfer SMS or InstaPay notification and sends it to us.

Wasal matches and confirms
When the amount and the transaction ID or name match, the payment is confirmed and your store knows right away.
A receipt screenshot alone never confirms a payment.

Common questions
The phone that receives payments must be Android, because iPhone doesn’t let any app read SMS or other apps’ notifications. The merchant dashboard works on any device.
No. The app only sends payment messages from Vodafone Cash, InstaPay and banks.
The request waits in the app as “needs review”. Once you’ve checked your wallet, confirm or reject it in one tap.
Right now, National Bank of Egypt and QNB messages, plus InstaPay app notifications. If your bank is different, send us one of its messages and we’ll add it.
